(Excessive Sweating)
What is the best non-surgical cure for hyperhidrosis?
You can get a prescription antiperspirant such as Drysol or Xertac AC. There are also medications you can take orally, but again you need a prescription for them.
Another option is Botox injections -but those can be painful %26amp; expensive.
Try talking w/your doctor about different options -there are a lot for you to try. What is best really depends on whether or not you are affected by the side effects -and if so, if the benefits outweigh the adverse affects.
Reply:if you go to your dermatologist, they can give you some kind of injection that slows down (underarm) sweating. If you are sweating some where else, I don't know.
Reply:my husband had this problem [very embarrassing] so I talked to my doctor for him [this was years ago] and got a prescription of drysol. it is a roll on that you use every other day for a week or so than it gets to wear you use it once a week and so on. my husband hasn't used it for about 6 years and is able to control sweating w/regular antiperspirant. talk to your doc and good luck.
