What is the best aluminum chloride deodorant for those with hyperhidrosis?

Is it Odaban, Drysol, Maxim, Certain-dri or other brands? Which can be bought without a prescription?

What is the best aluminum chloride deodorant for those with hyperhidrosis?
There is no better one available on prescription anyway, drugs that inhibit the amount you sweat are available but they have serious side effects and doctors really only recommend them for medical use rather than cosmetic. The deodorants themselves are very high dose aluminum which has its own issues of course, including the ability to mimic estrogen and contribute to breast cancers in men and women. But short term, from what I can gather it's a bit of trial and error but Maxim I have seen to work quite well. Good luck with it!
Reply:I found Drysol really works (and its over the counter). It can only be used on your armpits though and not other parts.

Also note, that any of those medications cause tingling and a burning sensation, and sometimes a rash.

You apply it at night after a shower and in the morning, you rewash that area. For the intial time that you use it, you use it for 3 to 4 nights in a row, then use it only every second night.
Reply:I dont know about the deaodorant, but you can take medication if it really bothers you and iterferes with your actions.Propranolol(Inderal)10-20 milligrams once or twice a day, after consulting your doctor.
Reply:You could check out the Old Spice stick deodorant, it doesn't have any aluminum chloride as one of it's listed ingredients.
Reply:Secret Clinical Strength and 5 Day are some that I know that you can get without a prescription.

They don't work all that great though.

I'd visit your dermatologist to get the problem taken care of properly.
