Help please?

I have Palmar Hyperhidrosis which is basically sweaty hands even when I'm not nervous and even when its cold! Its not as bad as some cases I have heard about but it is still embarrassing because whenever anyone comes near my hands I get so nervous and quickly move my hand away which just makes people be like 'ok? whats up with her?' kind of thing. I don't know if I'm making any sense but anyway theres a school dance coming up and I know people are going to want to dance with me but I don't know what to do! Any advice please?

Help please?
Don't worry about your small problems. People care more about who you are than what seems to be a be a major problem in your mind only! Rinse your hands in ice cold water and carry a small dry washcloth in your purse. Try not to be so sensitive. You are one of gods children, good people will accept you for your inner beauty. Don't sweat (pardon the pun.) the small stuff! Curt.
Reply:Dress like a southern bell and wear gloves.
Reply:I was watching and I saw diagnosis unknown about that. They went in and pinched a nerve or a sweat glad or something like that and the girl didint have sweaty hands anymore.

Try talking to your doctor.
Reply:try a deodorant or antiperspirant. the best is the salt crystals sold in health food stores. also cut back on pepper consumption a few days before if you eat lots of peppers.
Reply:There are quite a lot of calming tablets on the market, some of which are made from natural ingrediants. Get some at the local drug store or pharmacy.

Good luck and enjoy the dance...
Reply:Well, if your insurance covers it, and your parents will go along with it. (I assume you're young since it's a school dance.) There's one really great solution. Botox. They inject it near the wrist, and it almost completely stops the sweating for several months. It's worth looking into.

If not, and you need to use something OTC, be sure you use an "antiperspirant" not just deodorant, since deodorants remove odor, but don't do anything about perspiration.

Good luck!
