Secret Clinical?

I have hyperhidrosis, and I heard about clinical strength and for a few days it worked, but it doesn't really work anymore. Or works just the same as if I used normal antipersperent. I don't know why

Secret Clinical?
Antiperspirants work by decreasing sweat production from the eccrine and apocrine sweat glands. Unfortunately most patients with hyperhidrosis do not find commercial non-medical antiperspirants or deodorants useful enough. One exception to this is Aluminum Chloride in high concentration found in over the counter products.

Drysol is a solution of 20% Aluminum Chloride in anhydrous ethyl alcohol. Drysol is a prescription only medication, which is moderately effective in treating palmar and axillary hyperhidrosis. However it may cause severe skin irritation. Drysol is applied to the affected areas and left on for 6 hours. This is best done at nighttime before going to sleep. The medication is then completely washed off the next morning. Initial success rates are good but long-term results are less satisfactory.

Xertac AC is another medical antiperspirant used in treating hyperhidrosis, but it is not as effective as Drysol. Tannic acid in ethanol and formalin solutions has also been used to treat hyperhidrosis but they have been associated with allergic sensitization. Other useful topical antiperspirants are Odaban and Maxim.

In general topical antiperspirants have to be applied at nights and work best if used with saran wrap or plastic gloves for maximal effect.
Reply:Often it is due to stress and anxiety... it becomes a vicious cycle. Begin ASAP to drink as much fresh water... (nothing else will do!) every day... at least 8-10 glasses a day!

The best thing you can do for yourself is to learn to relax, to just chill, no matter what you are doing or where you are... No one is worth doing this sort of damage to you and you can get rid of this problem if you just stop breaking your head about it... Antiperspirants aren't good for you and could even contribute to health problems. The only thing you need to do is practise proper hygiene and wash daily. A little sweat never hurt anyone and is a normal part of life. When you learn to stop sweating the small stuff, you'll stop sweating so much... Before bed tonight, or whenever you have time, read the sixth chapter of Matthew in your Bible and you'll see what I mean... Don't be anxious about anything... Just relax and let tomorrow take care of itself... Live in the present, enjoy the very moment you find yourself in... Cultivate the fruits of the spirit quoted at Galatians 5:21,22 and begin to love who you are in order to love others properly... It's possible that you might be living a rather difficult time in your life... stressful job maybe! do what you can to alleviate the obvious obstacle and then leave the rest to God as you pray in the name of his son Christ... Best wishes!
