Why do some people judge people for sweating excessively?

It doesn't make sense because if a person sweats excessively all the time it should be obvious that they have hyperhidrosis or some other medical condition that is out of their hands. Some people get discriminated not only in social life but in jobs. Some people can treat their hyperhidrosis and some can't. I will just shake their hand and wash them afterwards. If you are wondering why I am on this subject I just read a website about people being ostrcized because of this condition. That is just immature because sweating shouldn't be a big deal.

Why do some people judge people for sweating excessively?
I know! I actually sweat a lot, but I don't think I have a condition. No one has ever actually confronted me about it, or made fun of me, but my brother has the same problem (I think we get it from our dad) and people make fun of him after gym class. I just get really embarassed when I start sweating a lot. I can't do anything about it, and neither can my brother, so just deal with it!
Reply:I agree with you.
Reply:ya...wat u said is rite only..this is not a big deal...sweatng is natural...everyone will have these things....y shud we bother????i totally agree with u
Reply:this might sound dumb but maybe its because sweating alot shows a sign of weakness, and in nature it is the way of the beast to kill weakness. I think its sad to judge someone because they sweat excessively, but it could also be brought about by obesity or a problem in the sweat glands, which can easily be operated on to control sweat.

For example, a friend of mine had an operation to control her excessively sweaty palms...it was abnormal sweating, but it helped it. Personally i think society uses anything to judge a person by.
