I believe I have Axillary Hyperhidrosis where I sweat a lot just under my arms. So I just bought Certain Dri but I read that for everyone it burns.. I haven't had that problem at all. It hasn't even stopped my perspiration.. I've only been using it for 3 days but why doesn't it even tingle? Does it not tingle/burn for some? I'm thinking maybe it was on the shelf too long and expired?? I'm lost :(
Is my Certain Dri working?
I have used Certain Dri before and it helped for some time then it stopped working.
I recently discovered Secret's Clinical Strength anti-perspirant. It is like a Certain Dri but it is a dry roll on. I absolutely love this stuff. It smells great and it does the trick. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey....maybe $5-7 per container. However, it's the best $7 I've spent in a while. I wouldn't trade it for Certain Dri any day!
Here is what it looks like in case you would like to buy it (I bought mine at WalMart)

Good luck and all the best!
EDIT:
Ohhhh, you've tried it already! Well then..dang, I don't know what else to say but to go to your doctor and have him/her perscribe you something. I think that's the only way you will see positive results.
P.S Certain Dri did not burn for me. It did not tingle either. It just felt like a cool strip of water on my skin until it dried completely.
Reply:I use Certain Dri and it works for me. But yes, if you get it on the sides of the arm pit, like where the muscle is, it burns and it should for everyone. I do not know for sure, but I believe they do expire because mine did that too. I bought another bottle of Certain Dri and it worked. So my suggestion would be buy another because they really do work. (I would normally sweat terribly, so I never wore tight shirt or any colored shirt that would show it..kind of depressing.)
Reply:Check the date to see if it is expired, I think it is printed on the bottle. I have used Certain Dri many times and I think it works really well. I would say probably 3/4 of the time it burns but then there are time when it does not burn at all. If I were you I would check the date to see if it is expired, if it is take it back to the store you got it from and try a new bottle. If you notice that it is still not working you should look into the new Secret deodorant, that have a new one out that is called Secret Clinical Strength. It is a little expensive, I think like $7.00, but they claim it works really well. The box says that it is prescription strength. I have never tried it so I am not sure, but it might be worth a shot!
Reply:i've been using it for a couple of days and it doesn't burn or itch for me either, but it does reduce my sweating.
make sure your armpits are COMPLETELY dry (like 100%) before you apply certain dri.
