Do you know other remedies that can temporarily cure hyperhidrosis(sweaty palms)?

Hi there-- You can use anti-perspirants and/or Botox and/or iontphoresis to treat palmar hyperhidrosis. But success is dependant on doing things right. You can find everything you need at the International Hyperhidrosis Society's web site (www.SweatHelp.org) like:

1.) A dermatologist that is familiar with diagnosis and treatment of HH

2.) Info on HH

3.) Info on HH treatments (for example, you have to know how to use Anti-perspirants RIGHT to get the most benefit from them)

4.) Insurance tools (key to helping you get your treatments paid for)

5.) Plus a newsletter that can let you know about new developments in care.

I hope this helps you.

Drink a herschey squirt and ask a webslinger
Reply:a practioner familiar with herbs might be able to help better.

i heard that some plants, such as Acanthopanax gracilistylus, help with sweaty palms. (from a medical botany class)
Reply:crushed ice and lemond mint for 3 night and it will be gone

but to a paste
Reply:I'd try using deodorant
Reply:A quick problem solver for sweating in any area is "prantal powder" its about $14 for 50gms or $21 for 125gms I use it all the time to avoid heat rash etc.,you just put a little on your powder puff of just straight on your hands a and rub it in, don't just dust it on it needs to be rubbed in and you will not sweat wherever you have used it, but do not put it all over your body cause it needs to sweat so just remember, use it only on the worst bits, it works great for me and can be used as a deoderant, Goodluck, I hope this helps, it has defineately helped me.
Reply:for both palms and feet. during daytime, apply baking soda or corn starch. at night, apply Jell-o. it works
