Would he still go out with me?

There is thsi guy Matt, who likes me, and i also like him but we aren't going out yet. Im also a little scared of going out with him because I have a problem. I have Palmar Hyperhidrosis (excessively sweaty hands) so i would never be able to hold his hand. How would i tell him this? It is a bit repulsive, so i dont know what t do. is it that big of a deal?

I have Palmer hyperhidrosis too, so I know how you feel! I told my boyfriend I had it before he felt my hand, so he didn't find it shocking. Believe or not, my boyfriend had a different type of hyperhidrosis and was a little embarassed to tell me about it. Most guys, if they like you enough are totally understanding about it. My boyfriend personally finds it amazing that I have that. Just be like... before you hold hands, wipe your hand off, and be like sorry I have hyperhidrosis and explain to him what it is. I hold my boyfriend's hand all the time and its really not that big of a deal.

Reply:It's not that big of a deal because that's not something someone should care about if they like a person. Tell him so you won't feel uncomfortable around him. If you don't then there will always be a barrier you put up, and it might actually drive him away. So just be honest and if he has a problem then you won't like him anymore because he's a jerk. lol.
